Christmas in May

Sometimes you just need a little Christmas in your day. At Big Star in Florence Sunday, I found some holiday-flavored coffee creamer on sale. I had to pick up some gingerbread and some pumpkin spice.

This morning, I put some of the gingerbread in my coffee. Mmmmmm...it tasted like Christmas.

Then at work today, I played my Christmas music mix (about half of which is around 30 or 40 versions of "Carol of the Bells"). It made me all warm and happy inside.

  2. My brother and I used to 'play' Christmas. We would play carols and throw cotton balls on the floor for a snow effect. It was all fun and games until someone (my brother) had the bright idea to use our beanbag stuffing for snow. It was not a happy Christmas in July that year.

  3. I love xmas music. Jud makes fun of me b/c I play it like 3 mths before xmas. One mth of xmas music just isn't enough. Sorry I don't like coffee so I won't be trying the creamer. :)

  4. Dad - Glad we could brighten your day!

Melodie - that's hilarious! I need to figure out how to do some sort of Christmas in July this year...

Julie - I only start 2 months early. The day after Halloween starts the Christmas season in my book!!
